Washington DC Center of Self-Realization Fellowship

Washington DC Center

The Washington D.C. Center of Self-Realization Fellowship is composed of devoted members and friends of Self-Realization Fellowship, a worldwide religious organization with international headquarters in Los Angeles, California, that was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda for the purpose of disseminating Kriya Yoga, a definite scientific technique for attaining direct personal experience of God.

As expressed in the Aims and Ideals formulated by Paramahansa Yogananda, Self-Realization Fellowship through its worldwide services and teachings seeks to awaken greater understanding of the harmony underlying all true religions, and a fuller expression in this world of the love that unites all people when they realize their oneness in God.

Our center holds Sunday morning and evening services, Thursday evening services, and Sunday School classes. We also hold commemorative services, long meditations, social events and volunteer service events.
