Washington DC Center is happy to announce that we have added the monthly Saturday long meditations and will also start the Thursday Inspirational Services in July, the first being on July 7th. We will hold a special service honoring Mahavatar Babaji on July 25 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Please bring a flower and a donation in an envelope as symbols of your love and devotion to the SRF line of Gurus.
We will be holding a General Membership meeting on July 24, both in-person and online. One of the agenda items is the review and approval of window replacement expenses. Please try to attend this important meeting.
As of May 12, 2022, Prince Georges County, MD recommends wearing masks indoors voluntarily. Though a mask is not a requirement for places of worship, we are recommending devotees to wear a mask. Due to the current health concerns, there are some other safety procedures we have implemented. There will be social distancing throughout the Center, however family groups can sit closer together if desired. We will start with soft, quiet chanting and prayers during the services. We will not pass the donation basket, therefore please place your donations in the basket at the rear of the chapel as you leave.
