Dear Elaine,
We are happy to inform you that SRF has signed all the necessary contracts to apply for a building
permit and start Phase I of the new building renovation project. In addition we have received the
initial deposit of $28,335 from our building fund to start the renovation. Our prayers have made
this happen so please continue to pray for this effort in addition to your monetary support.

Post Convocation Social Potluck
We will hold our annual post convocation social on Sunday August 15, after services. Its a tradition at our Center to share with all devotees our Convocation highlights and special moments. Please come and share with fellow devotees your experiences, especially for those who could not attend Convocation. All are welcome. Please bring a vegetarian entree', dessert or fruit juices.d price. |

We will hold our 4-hour Meditation on Saturday August 28th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Also every Sunday this month we will hold our 3-hour meditations from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. All are welcome.nd price. |

Many of you have asked that we report on special events that take place at our Center. We are happy to share with you two events: The Service Readers Workshop and the Sunday School Social and Pool Party. The Service Readers workshop took place on June 26 in our upstairs room and was greatly appreciated by all as they received excellent suggestions and coaching on how to improve their reading skills for SRF services. A delicous lunch of pizza, salads and dessert was provided. We want to thank all who attended and especially the leaders who investing much time and effort for the sucess of the workshop. The Sunday School Social and Pool Party was a wonderful afternoon for both students and parents on July 24th. A beatiful sunny Saturday with temperatures in the 100 degree range, was perfect for cooling off in the pool and playing games. There was a delicious barbecue of vegetarian hot dogs and hamburgers, which were cooked by two of the students with the help of SS Leaders along with many other delicious side dishes brought by attendees. Most of all, both students and parents spent time together sharing Master's teachings in a fun setting other than the usual classroom. Both students and parents look forward to next year's pool party. Special thanks to the Mendonca family for generously providing their beautiful home and pool!
